1965 Dodge Coronet 500 (W45 code under BDY) Convertible was built on or about October 30, 1964 (A30 code under SO) or an early production run vehicle for the 1965 model year. P4B code under TRM (Trim) - Premium Front Bucket Vinyl Seats in Blue Trim (including carpet, door panels and top), WW1 under PAINT White Monotone Exterior Paint. For the A thru Z codes I can decode the following The AB-40 codes refer to the engine that indicates the vehicle originally came with a 318 cubic inch - 2bbl. small block V8 (230 HP 340 lb.-ft. Torque ratings), but the current motor appears to be a RB Raised Block or larger big block V8 motor since the distributor is on the front (my guess is a 383 cubic inch motor is the car a 2-bbl. or 4-bbl. carb), the D-5 code refers to the A727 Three Speed Automatic Transmission, E-5 code refers to Heater with Defroster, Q-1 code refers to AM Radio, V-3 code refers to Back-upReverse Lights, Z-2 code refers to Front Bucket Seats & Console. The top line of the Fender Tag has numbers 1 90 that I can decode as follows 1-2 refers to the LHDrivers side remote outside mirror, and the 3-9 refers to Variable Speed Wipers with Washer. Currently convertible top motor is not working. The top itself is in good condition. Therefore the current price. Vehicle is located in Austin, TX.
